ICNDT is a non profit organisation devoted to the international development of the science and practice of Non-Destructive Testing in conjunction with individual NDT Societies and recognised continental grouping of NDT Societies. The ICNDT is registered as a legalized Association with its seat in Vienna, Austria.

The overall mission of EFNDT is to bring together the resources of the national societies and organisations involved in NDT and related topics in Europe to create a more effective and more valuable voice for industry, the professions, the users and the wider community..
EFNDT was founded in May 1998 in Copenhagen at the 7th European Conference for Non-Destructive Testing (ECNDT). 27 national NDT societies agreed to set up a powerful organisation on European level. Full membership is open to national NDT societies, one per country. Associate membership is open to all applicable organisations worldwide.
Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zerstörungsfreie Prüfung e.V. ist ein im In- und Ausland anerkannter technisch-wissenschaftlicher Verein mit mehr als 1.600 korporativen und persönlichen Mitgliedern.
Ziel ist die Erforschung, Entwicklung, Anwendung und Verbreitung der zerstörungsfreien Prüfverfahren.
Die Schweizerische Gesellschaft für zerstörungsfreie Prüfung ist ein Verein nach ZGB Art. 60 ff und unter diesem Namen auch im Handelsregister des Kantons Zürich eingetragen.
Die SGZP hat den Zweck, die zerstörungsfreie Prüfung in der Entwicklung und Anwendung zu fördern, die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Fachkräften zu unterstützen und Personal der zerstörungsfreien Prüfung zu zertifizieren.
